Even as a child, I have always been an artist.

Some of my earliest memories are of making crayon rubbings on paper of the textures I could find in and around my childhood home. I enjoyed observing the difference between shadows with different lighting. I spent hours drawing on and sculpting with anything I could find in the recycling. My parents were very encouraging in my art.

I enjoyed art at school and started taking lessons outside of school at the Petersen Art Center in Salt Lake City Utah. I continued my studies at and graduated from Utah State University.

Now, thanks to my supportive family I continue to create.

When I’m not working on a commission I like to paint landscapes of the various places we have traveled to but mostly I paint my children. They are the best things I have ever made and I enjoy capturing memories of them with my paint brushes.
